What kind of wood is used?
We use reclaimed Bolivian hardwoods like Tarara Amarilla, Tarara Colorado, Tipa, Morado, and other tropical species. Some of this wood was salvaged after wildfires or logging activity and would have otherwise gone to waste.
Are all speakers the same?
Each piece is one-of-a-kind. Wood grain, tone, and carved shape vary slightly—adding to the uniqueness and character of your speaker.
How load is the sound?
Passive speakers can amplify sound by about 2x to 3x. The result is a warmer, more resonant sound that’s perfect for small spaces or relaxed listening.
Where do you ship from?
All orders placed in the United States are shipped from our fulfillment center in South Carolina. Local pickup is available in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
